MOTOmed, Viva-2 Parkinson
Recent studies by American scientists and physicians have shown that the symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease can be markedly reduced using so called 'forced exercise'.
A special version of the MOTOmed is now available, which enables exercise at speeds up to 90rpm.
Various training programs are incorporated in the software and can be adapted to suit individual requirements.
Persons suffering from Parkinson's can certainly benefit from passive movement therapy on a daily basis.
At the conclusion of each training session the Viva-2 Parkinson shows an analysis of performance parameters. This data can be entered onto a spreadsheet to provide a history of training performance. Alternatively use can be made of the training analysis program SAM-2, (optional accessory) to transfer the data to a computer by means of a 'chip-card'. The results of the training sessions over a period of time can be displayed and analysed.
